Cherangany Member of Parliament Joshua Kuttuny is now calling upon the Jibilee leadership to take serious punitive measures against Deputy President William Ruto.
Speaking on Saturday, the fiery MP accused the DP of derailing the President Uhuru Kenyatta-led Jubilee Government.
He spoke in the company of an anti-Ruto Jubilee faction dubbed 'Kitaeleweka' when it attended a fundraiser at Churo Boys High School in Tiaty, Baringo county on Saturday.
He noted that the DP has been leading his allies in traversing the country politicking, which in turn is sabotaging Uhuru's development agenda by denying him the opportunity to work.
He also accused the DP of frustrating the ongoing purge on corruption though his side's opposition to the manner in which the same is being done, and also frustrating Uhurus March 2018 handshake with opposition boss Raila Odinga.
“We are not cowed by their calls. The main person who should instead be censured is the DP.
He has been derailing efforts made by government to fight graft and the handshake agenda, which has been tailored to unite the country,” he was quoted by the Standard.
He said that the team led by nominated MP Maina Kamanda and enjoying the support of Jubilee and opposition parliamentarians will not be hushed by the attacks from Ruto's side.
“We are unstoppable because what we stand for is also in the mouths of many citizens who are tired of runway corruption,” he added.
