President Uhuru Kenyatta has reportedly agreed with his Deputy William Ruto to convene a Jubilee party meeting on Tuesday to discuss thorny issues that have threatened to separate them.
In recent weeks, politicians allied to both sides have openly gone vitriol against each other over fight against graft.
Keen to avoid mistakes committed during grand coalition government, reports the Standard, Uhuru summoned Ruto for the meeting.
While details still remain scanty, the two are said to have discussed service delivery, Ruto's 2022 bid and war against graft.
Politicians allied to Ruto have openly criticised war against graft, maintaining that it is orchestrated in State House to implicate the DP.
Last week, reports emerged on formation of two parties by Ruto's allies as they contemplate dumping Jubilee.
And the two leaders are said to have agreed to meet on Tuesday and whip their allies to save a sinking Jubilee boat.
