North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko has continued to question the output by Governor John Nyagarama following increased concerns from locals.
The lawmaker, while speaking on Sunday in Nyamira, town expressed his disappointment about Governor Nyagarama's poor style of leadership.
The vocal MP said the county boss has failed the people of Nyamira.
"There is not development in Nyamira since devolution started in 2013 because Governor Nyagarama has put his interests first instead of the electorates interests. I'm condemning the ongoing mismanagement of the county," said Nyamoko.
He protested increased corruption in the county adding that the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Noordin Haji should move with speed to prosecute corrupt county workers.
"Some individuals who are colluding with Nyagarama to steal public funds must be apprehended to face prosecution. Mr Haji must camp at Nyamira County offices to take legal action against cartels working in the devolved unit," said the lawmaker.
Nyamoko challenged Nyamira MCAs to stop fighting for allowances but, push for development.
"County MCAs should open up eyes and oversight the county leadership well. The electorates deserve development such as good roads, improved health care, proper education and nurses to get their monthly allowances without delays," said the MP.
