The DP has in the past found himself a the centre of the storm with his critics accusing him of using his endless nationwide 'development'  trips to springboard his political ambitions.

However, while reacting to the accusations when he visited Migori County on Friday, the DP said that his mission is to ensure that the government fulfils its agenda and that he is serving Kenyans in his capacity as the DP.

"My mission is to ensure that the government fulfil the agenda, which is geared towards improving the livelihoods of all Kenyans. This why I am here today," he said.

In his bid to sway the Kuria region which is in Migori County into the Jubilee formation, the DP pledged millions of shillings for various development projects including construction of hospitals in Kuria West and Kuria East constituencies.

He further pledged to tackle the insecurity challenge that has always persisted in the region besides continuing giving a monthly stipend to the elderly people.
