In a tweet, the lawyer insinuated that Karua did not get justice in her election petition.

He, however, hailed her as a warrior.

"NOBODY GETS JUSTICE IN KENYA'S SUPREME COURT...BUT HON YOU ARE A WARRIOR...ALWAYS BEING...ALWAYS WILL," Ahmednasir said in reply to Karua's tweet.

In the tweet the Narc Kenya Party leader had said; "I did not get justice at the court but Aluta continua. The journey to success is long and widing."

Karua has been seeking nullification of Waiguru's win but her bid was halted by the apex court which affirmed the Appellate court's earlier ruling that she filed her petition outside the 60 days required for election petitions.

"The petition appeal dated 25th January this year is hereby dismissed. Cost of proceedings from the High Court to  Court of appeal by this court shall be borne by each party," reads part of the ruling in a video shared by Citizen TV on Twitter.

Reacting to the ruling, the former presidential candidate tweeted; “Many thanks to those who stood with me in my judicial marathon. All is not lost there is much more to do.”
