A Jubilee Party youth leader has reacted after the government borrowed another Sh210 billion Eurobond loan.
Isaac Motari who is the Kisii County Jubilee youth Secretary-General expressed confidence that the money will be used wisely to fund development projects.
Motari said it will be shameful if the money will also end up into a few individuals pockets.
"I hope the Sh210 Eurobond the government has borrowed will be used to fund projects especially those that have stalled for long. Kenyans don't want to hear that the money has gotten lost the way the first Eurobond loan lost," he said.
He challenged elected leaders to be on the front line fighting graft saying leaders in the office are the ones who are stealing public money.
"There is no way a leader who is not in office can steal. Let those who were elected ensure theft of public monies meant for development is not witnessed. Kenyans across the country deserves development and this can only be achieved by utilization of public resources well," he stated.
Motari was speaking at Suneka market on Friday.
