According to lawyer Donald Kipkorir of the KTK Advocates, the firm  FlexiAir, which is a local helicopter charter has given Governor Joho five days to clear Sh2.5 million he owes the firm, or else they will be going to court to sue him.

From the letter seen by Hivisasa, city lawyer Donald Kipkorir stated that Joho was using his client's chopper on several occasions back in the year 2016.

The hired chopper accumulated a total of Sh4, 434, 768 but the county boss of Mombasa only managed to pay half the amount.

"That at your instance and request, you leased on hire of our client's helicopter on diverse times between 7th and 17th October 2016, both date inclusive.

"Our instructions are that the sum of Ksh 2, 253, 768 is outstanding on the said sum which we have retained to demand this payment," read the letter to Joho in part.

It has also been reported that the same firm linked to the Kenyatta family has also contacted Kirinyaga Woman Representative Purity Ngirici for the same.

Kipkorir has written to Ngirici demanding for the payment of Sh3.9 million she owes his client.
