After the photo of the car that was used by the attackers to access the premise circulated in the social media, the public helped the police locate the residence the attacker lived days prior to the attack.
The residents of the Ruaka Estate informed the authorities that they had spotted the vehicle several times within the neighbourhood.
The police secured the attacker's living residence for further investigation.
After that, the police identified a graffiti in the car and started looking for the persons and the firm that branded it.
Yesterday, the police zeroed down on the particular company that did the branding.
The company is located along Mfangano Street and its name as 23MarketingKe.
Through their Instagram post on Wednesday, January 16, the company admitted to having offered the services and said they are cooperating fully with the police.
"Hello, we've already provided the authorities with relevant information regarding the client. Thanks", they said in response to a follower who accused them of aiding the attack.
The company also said they are under police investigation for branding the Toyota Ractis with registration number KCN 340E that was one of the vehicles used in the attack.
However, the company maintained their innocence stating they had no idea of the planned attack by the car owner.
