The commentator says that judging by the looming referendum, which could see the executive expanded, Kenyans should prepare to see teams uniting with an eye in the seats.

He says that the 2022 politics will be more of boardroom battles, adding that Kenyans should prepare for major changes as compared to previous general elections.

"2022, whether we like it or not, the politics of this country will be played differently. Will be kind of boardroom in what is going to be like teams," Herman Manyora said on his YouTube channel, Take It or Leave It posted on Wednesday.

He noted that Kenya is also likely to remain in the hands of the political elite, whom he said, judging by the support they command from their supporters, will decide the fate of the poll.

He said President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga will remain the leaders of Mt Kenya and Luo Nyanza regions, and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka the Ukambani boss.

In Ukambani region, he predicted, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka will remain the kingpin, with Deputy President William Ruto keeping his position as the Rift Valley kingpin.

"In the Coastal region, 001 Sultan (Hassan Joho) is there to take care of the interest on the table of the Coastal people. Kalonzo Musyoka, despite the little disturbance here and there, will handle the Ukambani region," he added.
