Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has dismissed claims of rifts in President Uhuru Kenyatta led Jubilee Party.
Kuria says that those speculating about rifts in Jubilee Party are out to scuttle President Uhuru Kenyatta's development agenda and his legacy.
The Gatundu South MP alleges that there could be a plot to divert attention and frustrate Jubilee government's fight against corruption.
"We suspect that some people want to divert the government attention on fighting corruption by alleging rifts in Jubilee," he said in Kiambu Town on Saturday.
Kuria said that Jubilee Party is solid and united to 2022 general election.
"Our vision and mission as Jubilee is beyond 2022 and those thinking that we will part ways are in for a rude shock," he said.
Kuria also said that Jubilee party will fully rally behind DP Ruto in 2022.
"We have not changed our mind and DP Ruto remains our president after President Kenyatta's term ends in 2022, " he added.
There are claims of rifts in Jubilee party over 2022 succession politics.
Sources say that President Kenyatta will on Tuesday next week meet Jubilee Party members in the effort to iron out differences said to be rocking the party.
