Residents of Kibra constituency are casting their votes on Thursday after a much-heated campaign by various candidates.
There shall be 24 candidates on the ballot paper as gazetted by The Independent Electoral Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
Among the 24 contestants, three including ODM’s Imran Okoth, Jubilee’s McDonald Mariga and Eliud Owalo of ANC have emerged as the popular candidates.
The by-election was announced following the death of the former Kibra Member of Parliament Ken Okoth who died after battling with cancer for some time.
The IEBC has assured all the stakeholders in the election that they are ready to conduct the election.
