A student said to have started the Moi Girls fire in Nairobi is set to be arraigned today morning.

According to the Star, police are likely to detain the 14-year-old form one girl so as to complete investigations into the matter.

In a preliminary analysis, it was found that the fire began from her bed.

Over ten students grilled over the fire incident have mentioned her as their prime suspect.

"The teenage student in question was earlier suspended from school over indiscipline, she was even walking with a matchbox in the school," said an officer attached to the case.
