According to South Mugirango MP Silvanus Osoro, lack of opposition's readiness will cost them the presidency in 2022.

Osoro who spoke on Sunday at Marongo area in Boikang'a ward while interacting with electorates after a site introduction to a contractor who will be working on the construction of an Sh150 million Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) center from May said instead of opposition focusing on how to clinch the top seat in 2022, the leaders in the outfit are busy dragging Deputy President William Ruto into graft.

"While Ruto is busy strategizing on how to become the next president in 2022, some individuals in opposition are on the other hand dragging him into unnecessary graft allegations instead of putting their energies on the 2022 polls," he noted.

The vocal lawmaker said the time has come to send old leaders home.

Osoro who was elected on Kenya National Congress (KNC) party which is allied to the National Super Alliance outfit said he can't make a u-turn to the opposition.
