Lawyer Donald Kipkorir has criticised those leaders purporting to support the handshake yet they are representing the corrupt in court.
The lawyer emphasised that the handshake was meant to end graft and electoral violence.
"Handshake intended & was meant to achieve TWO THINGS: End Corruption & Basis for Electoral Violence .. This Process is driven by Two People Only .. Therefore, One is either on board fully or not. Also, one can’t claim to be on Board yet first in Court representing the Corrupt," he tweeted.
The remarks comes after President Uhuru Kenyatta said that he will not relent in the fight to make Kenya united.
Speaking during the launch of a new cement factory in Rongai, Nakuru County, President Kenyatta said that the walk to unite the nation is unstoppable.
"On this journey, no one can stop me. I have said this before. We will get to our destination," said the President.
He further said that he looks forward to a united nation and hopes that all Kenyans will preach peace in everything they do.
“I want a country where Kenyans will vote and go home peacefully and after the results people return to their work without violence and chaos," President Kenyatta said.
