The DCI has taken to social media and rubbished reports of summoning the rapper.

“We wish to condemn strongly false information being peddled through social media to the effect that one Kennedy Ombima @RabbitTheKing has been summoned. Nobody from @DCI_Kenya has summoned him| @bonifacemwangi  @citizentvkenya,” DCI tweeted.

Before arriving at the headquarters on Tuesday, the rapper had said that his life was in danger.

Several lawyers have offered to represent the singer in court after Waiguru threatened to take action against him.

Lawyers Ahmednasir Abdullahi and Nelson Havi are among those who have stood with the singer since he released the song. Thirdway Alliance leader Ekuru Aukot has also offered the singer legal services in the event that he is arrested.

Kenyans from different parts of the country have elicited different reactions after Waiguru came forth with her guns blazing following the release of the song.
