Flamboyant businessman Don Bosco Gichana has 'begged' Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi to find an alternative way of tackling with the transport menace.
According to Mr Gichana, the current ways Mr Matiang'i is using to ensure matatu operators are complying with traffic rules famously known as 'Michuki Rules'.
Through his Facebook account, Mr Gichana who was recently released from prison in Tanzania where he was facing money laundering charges urged Matiang'i to stop being tough of matatus but instead embrace good means to ensure PSVs are complying with road rules to curb road carnage.
"Matiangi are you aware that wanjiku is suffering from those transport rules. Fares have skyrocketed pinching wanjiku hard. Look for a better way of dealing with the transport menace," wrote Mr. Gichana on Monday.
Bosco who bought NASA leader Raila Odinga a 'Hammer' during the 2013 general elections seems to have felt the pain poor Kenyans are undergoing paying more money as fares to various parts of the country.
He enjoys massive support across the Gusii region and most likely he may vie for a top post in Kisii County come 2022.
