Many comments were made but the legislator was able to come out of the whole affair stronger than ever before.

With this, men can learn these two important lessons on how to manage clandestine love affairs without causing more harm to himself and the community as a whole.

1. Slay queens must not overtake the main woman

It is true that men are naturally 'hunters', especially on matters love.

Therefore, having a slay queen as a side chick is never an issue but the biggest and most important thing is how to control her from taking over from the main woman, who apparently is the official home keeper.

When Nazlin Umar leaked the audio online, Duale trod cautiously on the issue, a fact that saw him come out even stronger.

The Garissa Township legislator knew that his wife Farida comes first, and, whatever the case, Nazlin would never take her rightful position.

To this, men must know that their legal wives should remain the first in the hierarchy no matter what.

2. Clandestine affairs are not a matter of life and death

Clandestine affairs should never be a death sentence to any of the parties involved.

Such affairs should not come to a tragic end.

Duale's clandestine affair with Nazlin Umar found its way to the public domain but neither of them plotted any plan to eliminate any.

That Duale took a step to apologise to his wife is a very big lesson that men should learn from the majority leader.

Eliminating a lover to 'clear' evidence of unfaithfulness is not only ungodly but also cowardly.

Had he trod carefully, the governor would be a free man.

In light of these two key issues, men playing the role of 'sponsors' in a clandestine love affair should live by these two key lessons.
