Majority Leader Duke Masira on Tuesday faced tough times at the assembly grounds following demonstrations organised by a section of youths opposing nomination of Irene Mayaka to the county assembly.
Ms Mayaka has won a couple of court cases against one Damaris Mouni, who the ODM party accuses of fraudulently sneaking her name to the party's nomination list through her son who used to work at IEBC.
And with Irene making appearance at the assembly, a section of youths, who were perhaps ignorant of court orders, accused Mr Duke Masira of orchestrating the move.
"The Majority Leader must go. He's imposing strangers on us. We shall teach him on ballot. We can't continue entertaining him. He's a disgrace to the party," one of the demonstrators said.
Speaker Moffat Teya turned away both Ms Mayaka and Mouni from the assembly, insisting that he's still studying the court orders. He also asked Ms Mayaka to submit the letter from IEBC.
Mouni had moved to court serving stay orders but Justice David Majanja dismissed her application, an indication that most legal channels have been exhausted. She lost at Magistrate courts and High Court.
In a rejoinder, Mr Masira asked his critics to get more information about the case before judging him. He said that he had no interest in the matter.
"I take orders from the party. I haven't done anything wrong. Those castigating me should get court orders and study them. I am just doing my job," he told reporters on Wednesday.
