Top gospel artiste Mr Seed has quit EMB records. The singer was signed by Bahati into the record label some two years ago.
Mr Seed revealed the news on his Facebook page (Mr Seed Muzik)
Some of the hits the singer released under EMB include; Kumbe kumbe featuring Bahati, Asifiwe yesu ft David Wonder, Neema Inatosha, Oyoyo and Simba wa yuda featuring Size 8.
In an announcement through his social media page, Mr Seed said he had opted out of the label so as to allow cabbing artists secure the support EMB records offers.
"After 2 successful years being signed under EMB records, I have finally decided to go independent and be my own artist for the sole purpose of paving way for other young and upcoming artists that Bahati has been taking in that need more the platform and support that EMB have offered to me and can offer," stated Mr Seed.
The exits, he said, is also intended to allow him to offer mentorship to upcoming artists, a dream he has been harbouring over the years.
"Bahati and I still remain brothers and I will always wish him the very best in everything he does. If there will be other stories that will emerge, I will address them to everyone coz am already getting words on the streets that are not pleasing to my ears," noted the artist.
He concluded by appealing to his fans to keep supporting him as he embarks on a new journey as a solo artist.
