Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Amani National Congress (ANC) boss Musalia Mudavadi are some of the national figures working with Interior Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho, says Kiharu lawmaker Ndindi Nyoro.
In an interview on Tuesday, Nyoro claimed that Kibicho has been trying to endear Raila to the Mt Kenya region, with the intention of offering him as an option in the fast-approaching 2022 general elections.
At the same time, he claimed that the PS and his team are as well the force behind an ongoing attempt to rebrand Mudavadi, alleging that its the same team that has even been paying for his latest political moves.
"They have tried to dust off Raila Odinga and sell him to Mt Kenya. They are also trying to dust off Musalia Mudavadi. Even the office he (Mudavadi) has now I know the person funding it," claimed Nyoro on Citizen TV's Newsnight.
The youthful lawmaker also insinuated that Kibicho and team are behind the growing push to have his boss and Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi hold a political seat in 2022.
He said that just like in Raila's case, the plan is to package Matiangi as a presidential candidate for reasons best known to the persons behind the plot.
"They are trying to package a CS as a possible presidential candidate," he added, at a time when the CS has been basking in endorsements from politicians from his Gusii backyard.
Nyoro has been all over the media since Sunday, where he was involved in an altercation with his nominated counterpart Maina Kamanda at a church in Kiharu.
