Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has accused Raila Odinga of plotting to dictate Tangatanga brigade over the BBI meeting.
On Thursday, Odinga said that the Tangatanga brigade is welcome to attend the BBI meeting, arguing that the process is for all Kenyans.
He also warned the team against possibility of disrupting the ongoing rallies, with the next being planned over the weekend in Mombasa.
“It will be misguided and unfortunate for anyone to think they can sabotage the BBI exercise…… I have not said I want to be president in 2022, that is how misguided people are,” he said.
However, Khalwale believes Raila has no audacity to dictate the BBI rallies, arguing that the former Prime Minister has gone overboard.
"Honestly this is just another level! @RailaOdinga wants to write our speeches! He's gone completely overboard & is out of order," he said.
Tangatanga brigade had on Tuesday made a U-turn over the rallies and promised to attend the Saturday's event in Mombasa.
However, the team also promised to host complimentary rallies across the country which would help the country get familiar with the Building Bridges Initiative document, Kipchumba Murkomen had said.
