Gikuyu popular musicians Samidoh and Joyce Wa Mamaa have apologised to their fans in the United Kingdom after their show flopped.
The vernacular artists on Saturday night performed at The Point Milton Keynes in Central Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, but the show did not go down according to their expectations.
The Mugithi maestros, who are famous for their duet Wendo Wi Cama (Love is Sweet), regretted they had much in store for their fans but they couldn't deliver a thrilling performance due to a poor sound system.
Taking to social media on Sunday, Samidoh and Joyce Wa Mamaa placed the blame on the event organisers for lack of adequate preparations.
"Apologies to my dear fans who attended the #MK show, sorry we din't perform as expected. Sound system was pathetic such that we din't have control over it. I hope the event organisers will do their best next time to avoid shame. Deep down my heart I'm very sorry," posted Wa Mamaa.
Samidoh thanked their fans, who were paying Sh2,300 entry fee, for their support despite the disappointment.
"I would wish to apologise to my fans who attended the Mk show. I know some of you came from very far and spent soo much just to support me.I must admit the organisers failed terribly and the sound was a total let down," he said.
