Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga now says that those attacking Interior Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho are directly attacking President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Kibicho has been under extreme bashing lately, especially from forces allied to Deputy President William Ruto.

Wanga is of the opinion that the PS should be left alone, arguing that the fact that he is in the office on Uhuru's mercy means that those attacking him should face his boss.

She argues that the PS is a nominee of Uhuru, and the attacks on him should be channelled to his boss, the president in this context, and he should be left out of politicians' mouths.

"Why would politicians want to speak about civil servants all the time? Kibicho is an appointee of the President and if you have a problem with him, then, you should face the President," she said on Citizen TV's Day Break on Tuesday morning.

Kibicho has also been accused of undermining the Deputy President and had been accused of discouraging provincial police bosses against attending his county functions.

About his alleged involvement in the La Mada Hotel meetings where some top state officials have allegedly been plotting to harm the DP, he has since rubbished the claims.

"I think it's better we stop creating things that don't exist the moment that we have a claim like that that is formalized and not in public barazas then it's dealt with in accordance with the law," said Kibicho in a rejoinder Monday.
