A former MP hopeful has dismissed the meeting between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto on Tuesday.
Samuel Omwando, the ODM chair in Kisii, termed the meeting as a waste of time which won't change DP Ruto's corrupt ways.
"Even if Uhuru meets with Ruto daily, he won't manage to change his corrupt dealings. The meeting was just a waste of time meant to lie to Kenyans that the two leaders are together," he said.
Mr Omwando challenged Uhuru to stop going round the bush but, instead stand firm and sack DP Ruto.
"Uhuru is wasting time meeting corrupt DP Ruto. He should sack him and have him replaced immediately with a person of integrity," said Omwando.
He regretted that corruption may not end in this country if people like DP Ruto continues holding public offices.
Omwando appealed to NASA leader Raila Odinga not to succumb unnecessary pressure being piled on him by a section of Jubilee politicians.
"Raila should be firm to keep the handshake strong by ensuring graft war continues. Those claiming he wants to split Jubilee are out to seek relevance," said the politician.
