Writing on Twitter on Wednesday, the outspoken governing Jubilee senator termed the forum as a Kieleweke and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) convention.

"Team embrace team Kieleweke & ODM Convention happening now at Bomas Of Kenya chief Guest Baba Raila (sic), " the Nandi Senator Wrote.

The senator's views were consistent with those of Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen who accused the organizers of deliberately trying to muzzle those with opposing views.

Leaders from across the political spectrum were invited to the event at Bomas of Kenya to share their views.

Even amid the opposing views, there seemed to be an agreement that the views of all Kenyans should be listened to.

The BBI was undertaken after the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his former political adversary former prime minister Raila Odinga.

They decided after the handshake to assign the responsibility of collecting the views of Kenya on the way forward to a team of individuals to do that taxing work.

In the lead up to the handing over of the report, political leaders supporting and those opposing it traded strong words.
