The National 15-aside rugby team went down 40-30 to their host Hong Kong in their last match of the Hong Kong cup of nations.
The lost means Kenya finished last in the four-nation championship after being beaten in all matches.
Russia retained the trophy for the third consecutive time, defeating Chile 42-11 in the final match of the tournament.
Philip Ikambili scored Kenya’s first try from a line-out deep in Hong Kong territory.
Vincent Mose and Oliver Mangeni scored two more tries for Kenya but the hosts held on to win 40-30 courtesy of a try and two penalties
