The Wiper members led by Stephen Mutinda Mule of Matungulu, John Munuve of Mwingi, Vincent Musyoka of MwalA ,Maweu Katatha of Kangundo, Victor Munyaka, Itwiku Mbai of Masinga Constituency joined the Jubilee leaders a move perceived as defying their party expectations. 

This followed, a press briefing by Wiper Party spokesman who stated that Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka had not been invited to the meetings. 

Speaking in Kangundo on Friday, Mwingi North Member of Parliament elected under Wiper party John Munuve praised President Uhuru Kenyatta is a people's president. 

"I have never seen a president who loves his people all over Kenya as Uhuru Kenyatta as opposed to those making unnecessary noise," said Munuve.

On the other hand, Mutinda Mule the MP for Matungulu sub-county thanked the president for the Kangundo-Kenol road project. 

However, Kangundo Member of Parliament Katatha Maweu urged the Vice President to allow the Kangundo Technical Institute registration and government funding.

Most of the Wiper elected leaders failed to attend the president's visit owing to the fact that their party leader ought to have been invited officially to the Ukambani visit. 

The president's visit is said to have been cut short due to official duties as he was expected to visit Makueni on Monday.
