A girl aged 15 years has been hospitalised after allegedly being raped and injured by a man said to be her mother's lover.

The girl whose identity cannot be revealed for legal and ethical reasons is nursing injuries she sustained in her private parts after the beastly act at the Likuyani sub county hospital in Kakamega County.

The incident happened in Siyenga village, Seregeya sub location, Likuyani constituency.

Speaking to journalists, the victims who is a pupil at Siyenga Primary School said the suspected rapist David Lugalia who is popularly known as 'Two Hundred' in the area lured her using Sh20 to his house where he tore her clothes and engaged in the un-consented sexual encounter.

He then warned her not to reveal the ordeal to anyone saying should she do so, he would kill her.

The incident was confirmed by the Likuyani sub county children's officer Milcah Chelagat Sitienei who said police are in pursuit of Mr Lugalia said to have vanished from home after his heinous act's revelation to authorities.

Chelagat warned men against taking advantage of the innocence of girls in the area to make love with adding that "the long arm of the law will not spare them".

Lugalia is said to be a lover to the victims mum who was away when the incident happened. The woman is a widow.
