Kenyans have reacted angrily to a video of a man washing fruits in dirty water trench.
The undated video which went viral on social media on Wednesday shows a man busy washing the fruits as people just bypassed him while others in their vehicle just watched.
This angered most Kenyans on social media who have always bought fruits along the road and eaten them without washing.
Some Kenyans came out to refute claims that the unnamed man was a hawker. They pointed out that he was a mad man trying to wash the fruits so that he could eat himself.
Others noted that many hawkers have been seen, not only in Nairobi but also in some other parts of the country washing fruits and vegetables in dirty water by the road.
The health ministry has always asked people to wash fruits and vegetables before eating them. More so, it is always safe to wash your hands before eating any food.
