The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji has opened a brand new headquarters for the office of the director of public prosecutions.
The headquarter's, according to a statement from the ODPP will be situated along Ragati Road, in Upper Hill, Nairobi.
"DPP Noordin Haji formally opens new @ODPP_K headquarters along Ragati Rd, Upper Hill. Speaking to excited staff, DPP noted the 4 storey building provides a conducive environment for effective & efficient delivery of services," the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) read.
The development will be seen as a boost for the ODPP and it comes in the context of a raging war being waged by the office on high profile cases of corruption and murder.
Among some of the cases being prosecuted by DPP Haji is the corruption case involving Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich and the murder of slain Dutch business tycoon Tob Cohen.
