1. Reduce milk production in lactating mothers

Pregnant and lactating mothers should try to avoid avocados since it can cause damage to mammary glands thus reducing milk production. Consuming too many avocados during the breastfeeding period can also cause stomach upsets to the baby. 

2. Causes headaches.

Avocados have tyramine which is a by-product after the breaking down of amino acid tyrosine which is associated with migraines. 

3. Can cause liver damage.

Avocado oil comes with many health benefits but before consuming, it should be checked whether it contains estragole and anethole which has carcinogenic reactions which can damage your liver. 

4. Can cause blood thinning.

When avocados are taken in large quantities, they reduce the effects of anti-inflammatory medication resulting in blood-thinning which causes prolonged flow of blood from a cut.
