Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju has said that the party is headed in the right direction and is set to grow even bigger in the future.

This, however, comes at a time when the bloc seems to be divided due to the ongoing internal fights and disagreements, the latest one being the Kibra by-election, where some of the party members have declared support for the ODM candidate.

However, in an interview on Citizen TV on Tuesday, Tuju stated that Jubilee shall be even bigger and will achieve more for Kenyans in the coming days.

“Jubilee is going to be bigger and better and spells more hope for this country than ever before. It’s going to be so big you will be amazed, I happen to be in the kitchen so I know that," he said.

Tuju added that he is not at all worried about the Kieleweke and Tangatanga fights, saying that the party remains focused on the bigger picture which is Kenya.

He added that Jubilee will be able to overcome its current problems and will not be brought down by the issues currently affecting it, terming them 'turbulences'.

"Not at all, the dream is much bigger, the dream is Kenya. But of course, I can understand when those in the periphery are a little bit jittery. It's like a plane which is taking off, it's up in the sky, some of the passengers might think this thing is gonna drop, it's not dropping," he added.

Also at the centre of the wrangles is the alleged growing rift between President Uhuru Kenyatta, the party leader, and his deputy William Ruto.
