The man identified as Issa Abdi Ahmed was allegedly attacked by KDF officers last week in Sangailu, Ijara Constituency.

The MP in a post on her Facebook page was however pleased by how the KDF soldiers responded to the incident by treating and nursing Ahmed.

Noor visited the man who is currently receiving treatment at Manda KDF Hospital on Thursday.

She said that during the meeting, she discussed with the KDF officers on how they will work together to ensure residents in Ijara are well protected.

“It was an honor for me today to visit Issa Abdi Ahmed Who is recovering from the brutal beating by KDF officers in Sangailu a week ago. Issa is on medication in Manda KDF Hospital and he is doing very well. As much as I condemn the heinous act I was also impressed by how the KDF officers are treating and nursing him,” reads part of the MP's post on Facebook.

“Thereafter, I had a brief meeting with the officers and agreed on mutual collaboration in enhancing the relationship between them and Ijara Community. In particular, I discussed with them on the welfare of Issa and his Family where they promised to take care of him and his family,” she added.
