The flamboyant governor suggested in a Facebook post that  the preacher's angry outbursts were a sign of the end of times long predicted in the Bible.

"Ishara nyingi tumeziona za kuja kwake Yesu (We have seen many signs of the coming of Jesus)," Sonko wrote.

Governor Sonko's short post was accompanied by the video of the pastor's rant.

Kenyans on social media reacted to the video in various ways and ended up creating hilarious memes out of it.

In the video, Ng'ang'a, the leader of Neno Evangelism Centre, is seen pacing up and down, lecturing bishops whom he accuses of ingratitude and disrespect towards him.

He demands the bishops to respect him or get out of his church as the congregation watches silently.

Governor Sonko appeared to borrow from the scripture which talks about false prophets in the end times.

This is not the first time that the preacher was stirring controversy. He trended early this year for threatening to "deal" with a renowned journalist and was later arrested for that.

Neno Evangelism Centre is located in the capital Nairobi and boasts of scores of followers.
