Less than 48 hours after Hivisasa reported about an 'Akorino' driver who was captured using a phone while driving, the National Transport Safety Authority (NTSA) has acted.

NTSA has suspended the driving licence of the driver whose photo went viral on social media as well as revoking his PSV licence.His PSV badge has also been withdrawn.

2NK Sacco, on the other hand, has been directed to remove the errant driver's photo from their portal and also organize a road safety sensitisation for its management, drivers and conductors within seven days.
