Cherangany MP Joshua Kutuny has hit out at the Leader of Majority in the National Assembly Aden Duale over his remarks during an interview with Citizen TV Wednesday.
In reference to 2022 polls, Duale cited that there will be two horses - Deputy President William Ruto and opposition leader Raila - and the rest, he stated, will be donkeys in the race.
Speaking during the memorial service of Masinde Muliro in Sibanga on Wednesday, Kutuny termed his utterances as reckless and ill-intended.
“I want to publicly tell Aden Duale that he only has only 2,000 votes and he cannot tell us what to do. When he says that there will be two horses that are Raila and Ruto, where did he live Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula, and Eugene Wamalwa?” Kutuny questioned.
“Duale, come slowly. This time is not a joke; we will sit and plan for you," warned the Cheragany lawmaker
He, however, hit out at those against the change of constitution saying constitutional change is inevitable.
The Cherangany MP said the current constitution has made Kenyans beggars.
Kutuny said politicians should not criticise either the Punguza Mizigo or Building Bridges Initiative yet before scrutinising all their contents.
“Let the boy bring the lady first in the homestead for you to start criticizing her, if she has respect or not, why are you criticizing BBI and you have not seen it,” Kutuny said.
