The bodies were found a few kilometers from the Laikipia Air Base where the officer is based.
The investigators kicked off their probe at the County Referral Hospital mortuary as they seek to unmask the real killer of the innocent Kenyans. The police have warned residents to keep off the area where the bodies were found 20 days after the victims went missing.
The detectives are expected to examine the samples taken from the scene where the bodies were discovered.
A male casual labourer, 21, from the Laikipia Airbase is also on the radar of the police after he reportedly assisted the man to bury the bodies in an open field.
