Reclaiming the seat will not be an easy affair, the party should work on various issues before the 2022 contest. Here are three of them:

1. Fair party nomination

Party nomination is one of the things that Wiper should invest on. When the time comes, the party should conduct a fair nomination exercise that is acceptable among all participants.

The party should also come up with a proper mechanism for dispute resolution, where those disgruntled by the nomination results can file petitions, and get a fair hearing.

2. Unite its candidates after nomination

Unity is important in an election. It strengthens the party and makes it be more powerful.

After nomination, Wiper should unite all candidates who contested for the post, and have them endorse the winner. This way, no votes will be split among party members.

3. Run a good campaign

Winning an election is all about running a good campaign, and selling your policies to the electorate. Wiper should start campaign on time, popularize its candidate in the grassroots, and reach every corner of the county.

The party should not underestimate opponents from other parties.
