Kenyan media queen cum singer Tanasha Donna's love song hit one million views on YouTube within three days of dropping it.
On Thursday the song, La Vie featuring Tanzanian celebrated artist Mbosso set a record as one of the most viral videos ton Youtube as, by Friday evening, the song was still trending at number one in Kenya.
Tanasha released the song in which she featured Tanzanian lover-song writer and singer, Mbosso Khan, at the time when several other Kenyan artists, including Otile Brown, rappers King Kaka and Khaligraph Jones had also released their songs.
She has, however, managed to stay at number one regardless of stiff competition.
She thanked her fans for making the song the trend.
"1M VIEWS ON YOUTUBE!!! STILL #1 TRENDING. GOD IS GOOD. Thank you, my brother, @mbosso_ & thank you all for the support. In case you haven't watched it yet, HIT THE LINK ON MY BIO!!," she had said.
Tanasha has been receiving great support since she released the song, including her lover Diamond Platnumz's ex-lovers.
On Thursday, she took to social media to thank one of Diamond's ex-lover, Jacqueline Wolper, who had supported her song by singing along it and later sharing on her social media pages.
This was a rear show of support considering most of Diamond's ex-lovers including Zari Hassan, are never in good terms with the mother of one, Tanasha.
Tanasha's song has so far been watched over 1,100,000 times on YouTube.
