Out of 40 wards of Machakos county 16 wards were denied bursary disbursement by the Machakos county executive.
Speaking to the press led by Machakos county assembly speaker who is also the MCA of Ikombe ward, MCAs claimed that their wards were left out because they don't support governor Alfred Mutuas ideas.
Nganga lashed out at governor Mutua saying that every ward has a right to the bursary and its wrong for the governor to favor wards which have MCAs who dance to his tunes.
Nonetheless Nganga asked the governor to release the money for bursaries for the sixteen wards immediately since its the taxpayers money and they have a right to it.
Cornelius Kitheka Machakos town MCA also said that he has written to the senate for it to give an order for Ward development fund money to be released.
Kitheka also asked the governor to either release the bursary funds or get out of office so that the people of Machakos can elect another governor who will serve them without discrimination.
"Its either you release the funds or get out of office we elect another governor who will have the people's interests at heart," said Kitheka.
Kitheka claimed that they won't heed to the governor's call to his office for a talk claiming that the governor intends to compromise them into supporting him.
