The body of a 16-year-old boy was recovered in Kwa Matinga area, Matungulu sub-county, Machakos county.

Confirming the incident, Matuu estate location chief Julius Mathei said that investigations on the killing have commenced.

Chief Mathei said that according to family members the young Man had escorted his dad on Tuesday morning who was heading to Nairobi.

The young boy never got back home where he was later found dead.

The victim was bleeding from the nose which shows he was hit with a blunt object on the head.

The body was taken to Kangundo level four hospital mortuary.
