The Uganda Cranes squad is in Nairobi having arrived in the country on Friday ahead of their international friendly fixture against the Harambee Stars of Kenya.
Speaking to members of the press after touching down at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Abdallah Mubiru the head coach of the Ugandan side said that they had great respect for the Stars but not fear.
"We respect them but of course we can't be threatened, we don't fear but of course we respect them. They are good players, high profile players, with good experience and playing for good teams," Mr Muburia said.
The friendly comes weeks after the Harambee Stars lost to the Taifa Stars of Tanzania at the Kasarani International Stadium that saw the Kenyan side edged out of the CHAN qualifiers and Sebastien Migne lose his job as head coach.
Kenya hopes to use the match to prepare for the 2021 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The friendly between the two East African neighbours will be played at the Kasarani International Stadium on Sunday and will kick off at 4pm.
Both teams featured in AFCON that was staged in Egypt with Uganda proceeding to the last 16 as Kenya was bundled out after winning one match and losing two.
