Ten principals from various secondary schools in Uasin Gishu County have been transferred.

According to Uasin Gishu Kenya Secondary Schools Heads Association (Kessha)Chairman Shadrack Ngetich, they fully support the government on the transfers.

The transferred heads have already reported to their respective schools.

“Ten principals have been transferred to a various school outside and inside the County and as an Association we full l support the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and we wish all them all the best in their new work stations,” said Ngetich.

Ngetich who spoke to the press in Eldoret town on Thursday said the move will also help in service delivery since they will improve the performance of the schools in which they were posted.

“We also want to thank TSC for considering 13 deputy principal who has been in serving in the position for over ten years by promoting them to become principals,” added the Uasin Gishu Kessha chair.

Some of the Schools that were affected include Bishop Birech Secondary School whose Principal was transferred to Trans-Nzoia, Loreto Matunda Principal Transferred to St Mary’s Igochi while Turbo girls principal was transferred to Loreto Matunda.

KAG Bwayi principal swapped positions with Moi Barracks secondary principals while Kamagut mixed Secondary school principal was transferred to Laboret Secondary schools among others.
