In a tweet on Friday, Keter, a critic of DP William Ruto, wondered why MPs were grouping into regions to discuss the Building Bridges Initiative report.

Also, Keter wondered why the MPs think that someone is being shortchanged in the Building Bridges Initiative report.

"Kenya needs a revolution like yesterday, imagine after a good initiative like BBI then you hear politicians grouping and saying oooh our region this!!!! oooh we want to interrogate the document as a community!!! oooh our man amepangiwa this and that. Please give us a break!" he tweeted.

Keter, who is serving his second term, snubbed the Rift Valley meeting in Naivasha. He has been accusing DP William Ruto of sabotaging President Uhuru Kenyatta.

On Friday, the MPs who support DP William Ruto's State House race, changed tune, arguing that they will support any BBI implementation process endorsed by Uhuru.

"We are ready and we shall fully support implementation of BBI report through whichever means President Uhuru chooses. We shall support amendments whether through parliament or referendum," Katoo Ole Metito said.

Belgut MP Nelson Koech had on Friday said the meeting was a teambuilding forum meant for leaders from the region, but it will also be used to discuss a myriad of issues with regard to the region's development.

“We want to share our experiences and deliberate about key socio-economic and political issues touching on the Rift Valley region. The meeting is purely a team-building exercise," explained Koech.

Keter, Joshua Kutuny, Silas Tiren among others, have been leading anti- Ruto campaigns within Rift Valley in recent days.
