Exiled lawyer Miguna Miguna has announced his return date to Kenya, following his deportation last year, over his involvement in the mock swearing-in of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
In a tweet, Miguna said he will back on January 11, 2020, and urged the relevant government agencies to comply with court orders and allow him back.
“My flight to my mother land will land at the JKIA on January 11, 2020. To Chief Justice David Maraga, the Judiciary, my lawyers, KNCHR and Law Society of Kenya: Court orders must be obeyed. Ensure compliance with Justice Mwita's orders of December 14, 2018,” he tweeted.
In a separate tweet, Miguna shared contact details of his advocates, who should be reached in case anything happens to him during his planned visit.

The self-proclaimed National resistance movement (NRMke) General was deported after he administrated the mock-swearing in of Raila Amolo Odinga at Uhuru Park grounds on 30th January 2018.
The lawyer lamented that he was flushed out of the country in a disrespected manner which he argued violated his human rights. Since then, he has been one of the fiercest critics of the Jubilee regime.
The activist has also not been impressed with the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM Leader. He has been calling upon Kenyans to rise up and revolt against the current regime. He believes it is high time Kenya needs a change in leadership.
