Kapseret lawmaker Oscar Sudi has detected malice in the recent arrests of state officials implicated in graft dealings and which culminated in arraignments on Tuesday.
Among the victims was National Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich, who is among the persons who were charged over the Arror and Kimwarer dams scandals.
Speaking on Wednesday, Sudi, in an indirect shot at President Uhuru Kenyatta, claimed that this is a plot to victimize persons considered outsiders of the 'dynasty' circle.
He told Kenyans to prepare for more arrests over questionable graft allegations in the coming days, as part of the attempt to finalise on the plan to widen the gap between the rich and poor.
The MP who was addressing the media in Eldoret called for Kenyans' intervention, urging them to pray to God to prevent the nation from being completely destroyed by the dynasties.
“We know that there are many other people lined up to be arrested over trumped-up graft charges and Kenyans should pray hard for deliverance from dynasties who want to ensure the gap between the rich and the poor widens by the day,” Sudi said in his tirade against Jubilee leadership.
Sudi further accused Uhuru of subjecting the nation to poor leadership, claiming that under him, many businesses have closed down and the economy is struggling.
The lawmaker dared Uhuru to find out by himself by taking a walk across the city and personally find out the truth from the people.
