However, another Bongo Star Seif Shaban who is popularly known in the country by his artistic name Matonya is being listed to be among those stinking rich.
Matonya has been listed as a great investor who is growing richer by day. The singer is not only investing in his country but also doing a great job here in Kenya.
Music-wise, the artist was a big name in the Kenyan music industry even before Diamond emerged to the limelight. His then big hit was 'Violeti' which enjoyed huge airplay on Kenyan media houses
He then slowly went dim after the likes of Diamond Platnumz emerged to the Kenyan market.
While Matonya's music are no longer hitting in the country, his business cannot be ignored nor taken lightly. The singer is involving himself in the car business and real estate.

Matonya owns a number of houses in Tanzania and at least one house in Kenya's Kitengela region. He has a number of cars on his name.
Some years back, it emerged that he had relocated to Kenya after he was linked to trafficking drugs. He, however, refuted the allegations.
