Two people were on Thursday arrested at the Nakuru County Headquarters for allegedly conning the public that they would offer them jobs.
This comes amid increased number of complaints at the county's complaints desk, where many residents whined about losing money to the con men.
With the upped security and intelligence networks, Nakuru County officers managed to arrest Sammy Mburu and Peter Mwaura.
In a statement posted on the county's Facebook Page, the county government confirmed the arrest, adding that the suspects were found with many job application documents.
The two were taken to the Nakuru regional DCI offices where they recorded statements.
Victims also identified them positively and have recorded complaints with the police.
Due to the above, the county government of Nakuru has cautioned members of public to be keen when applying for jobs in the county, to avoid being defrauded by con men.
"We would like to notify the public that the County Government of Nakuru does not ask for money to have one employed," the statement from the county government read in part.
