Stevo Simple Boy, a popular upcoming artiste clinched the artiste of the year award in the just concluded Mashujaa awards competition.
In the category of the best artiste of the year, Stevo simple Boy was competing with other artistes such as; Khaligraph, Bahati, and Nyashinski.
In a post that Stevo posted on his Instagram page, he thanked God plus his fans for the support that he has received from them.
“I want to thank God together with my fans for supporting me to this point. Thanks to everyone who voted for me in the Mashujaa Award as Artiste of The Year. Our trophy is here (Nashukuru Mola na mafans wote kwa kunisupport hadi mahali nimefika. Asanteni sana pia wale walinivotia kuwa ARTIST OF THE YEAR kwa @mashujaaawards. Kikombe yetu ndio hii, ndo maanke ausio. Big up Nyinyi wote. Familia yangu)," he wrote.
His win came up as a surprise as no one thought that he was capable of beating his competitors.
As the awarding concluded on Monday, the actual Mashujaa Awards event was held on Thursday, November 21, at the Carnivore Simba Salon.
Its aim was to recognize and appreciate various people from different sectors doing a tremendous job.
