NEC has asked Sossion to quit from his current position to pave way for another official to take over the union failure to which he will be kicked out by force.

The officials said that Sossion has proven that he is not suitable to hold the position after he agreed to be nominated into parliament.

The union officials said that Sossion’s nomination has affected his performance since he agreed to assume the role.

The meeting was disrupted for some time after rowdy youths stormed the place.

The police were forced to swing into action after the young made their way to the place.

The new development comes after the Employment and Labour Relations on July 27, 2019 allowed the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) to remove him from the register after he took over the position.

TSC faulted Sossion for not deregistering from the teaching position as stated by the regulations of 187 of the code.

He, however, failed to adhere to the requirements of the commission in relation to the job.  On his part, Sossion has vowed to stay put amid pressure to kick him out of office.
